MANSFIELD: Anna Fidler, 74, formerly of North Trimble Road, Mansfield, died Friday morning September 20, 2002 in her daughter's rural Adario home following a long illness.
She was born May 13, 1928 in Palmyra to Lester Zeigler and Ada Fuller Zeigler Andrews, and was graduated from Johnsville High School in 1946.
A lifelong Mansfield area resident, Anna had worked as a production worker with Perfection Bed Spring and later in the kitchens of Stewart's Root Beer stands.
She was a member of V.F.W. Post # 291, Shelby and loved playing euchre. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and always looked forward to times camping around Lake Erie.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marsha L. and Robert Palm of Shiloh; seven grandchildren and their spouses Andy and Nancy Hanshaw, Scott and Rosalie Hanshaw, Timothy and Tiffany Hanshaw, Meredith Hanshaw, Michelle and Mike Lybarger, Jamie Fidler, and Angie and Jamie Walker; eleven great grandchildren; and two sisters and a brother-in-law Doris McBride of Marion and Marjorie and Robert Sheets of Lexington.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Edwin Fidler on March 8, 1995; and her son Gary R. Fidler on January 16, 1990.
Funeral services will be held Monday September 23, 2002 at 3 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the funeral service.
